THE ARCHITECTURAL MODEL OF OUR SOLUTIONS
All of our solutions comply with the reference architecture below and adopt the communication protocols (de facto standards) proposed by the Open Charge Alliance (OCA). Architectural entities, functions and services are present in the ICT platform we developed, called B.O.M.T.S.
DSO: Distribution System Operator. Responsible for managing and maintaining the power grid
EmSP: E-Mobility Service Provider Responsible for all contacts with the motorist
CPO: Charge Point Operator. Responsible for the charging station
OCPP: Open Charge Point Protocol (Communication Protocol)
OSCP: Open Smart Control Protocol (Communication Protocol)
As you can see, the actors are:
- The USER with the car that talks in Mode 3 with the charging station
- The Charging Station
- The Head of Electrical Grid Management and Maintenance (DSO)
- The Energy Provider
- Responsible for all contact with the motorist (EmSP)
- The Charger Manager (CPO)
Electric Drive Italia can provide both a personalized platform to customers who want to become autonomous EmSP and the support of its EmSP platform from for those who want to remain CPOThe EmSP. Back-Office Platform (B.O.M.T.S.),communicates on the one hand with each station and on the other with the DSO, and is able to provide a multiplicity of services to the end user, enriched also thanks to the application cooperation with other computer systems (tourism, PA, etc.).
All other players, in particular Energy Provider and DSO,continue to carry out their institutional tasks, which are those of energy supply and distribution network management.
